Economic activities threaten fish supply

KOTA TINGGI: The fish population in most rivers in Johor is under threat due to uncontrolled economic activities along the riverbanks.

State Fisheries Department director Munir Mohd Nawi said these include logging, farming and large scale commercial plantations for commodities such as rubber and oil palm.
