Public advised to adopt safety measure to prevent fires during holidays

ALL those returning to their hometowns for Hari Raya Aidilfitri are advised to switch off their home appliances before leaving the house to prevent a fire.

Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department director Khirudin Drahman said most fires during festive seasons were caused by electrical appliances that had been left on.
