PENANG Health Committee chairman Dr Afif Bahardin has called for the Kepala Batas Hospital to be upgraded to a specialist hospital.
With five main wards including a maternity ward, a paediatric ward, an intensive care unit and four operating theaters, he said such facilities would qualify the hospital for a specialist status.
