THE operating licence for the Batu 10 quarry in Bandar Mahkota Cheras will end in March next year and the state will not renew it, said Selangor Tourism, Consumer Affairs and Environment committee chairman Elizabeth Wong.

The quarry, she said, was located too close to the residential area and would be closed once its licence expires next year.
