Encouraging a green and clean Ramadan

MANY local authorities are going green this Ramadan by urging Ramadan bazaar traders not to use polystyrene and plastic bags and encouraging members of the public to bring their own containers when buying food at the bazaars.

This is also part of the Selangor state’s efforts in environmentally-friendly practices since its “No Plastic Bag Day” initiative.
