Johor Baru district records the highest amount of claims

JOHOR BARU: Johor Social Security Organisation (Socso) has disbursed RM20.78mil in compensation from January to April to victims of 5,911 work-related cases as a result of permanent and temporary disabilities suffered by the recipients.

State director Ismail Abi Hashim said the Johor Baru district recorded the highest number of claims at RM12mil, followed by Muar (RM3mil), Batu Pahat (RM2.4mil), Kluang (RM2.2mil) and Segamat with RM1.2mil.
