KUCHING: The arbitrary enforcement of dress codes at government offices and suggestions that non-Muslims not eat in the presence of Muslims during the fasting month impinge on the rights of non-Muslims in the country, Sarawak PKR chairman Baru Bian says.
He said recent incidents, including non-Muslims being asked to cover up and students told to eat and drink in the toilet, were alarming signs of attempts to Islamise the country.
