The use of polystyrene packaging in Ramadan Bazaars is being discouraged in Shah Alam.

Though it is the most popular type of take-away container, the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) is discouraging its use as it is not only difficult to recycle but has proven to be hazardous to health and the environment.
