KUCHING: A drop in the export volume of plywood and particleboard, coupled with lower volume of harvested oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FFB) put a drag on Subur Tiasa Holdings Bhd’s latest quarterly earnings.
For the third quarter to April 30, 2015, Subur Tiasa group’s pre-tax profit was slashed to RM1.62mil, down sharply from RM12.2mil in the previous corresponding period as revenue fell to RM176.1mil from RM230.6mil. Earnings per share dropped to 1.44 sen from 5.54 sen.
