No easy walk along Jalan Utara

1 Pedestrians can choose either to pick their way through the rubble-strewn path or brave the oncoming traffic and walk on the road.2 Buses now stop on the main road to drop and pick-up passengers as many do not wish to go on the dug-up pedestrian path. This is causing traffic congestion in the area.

PEDESTRIANS walking along Jalan Utara on the Asia Jaya LRT station side have to carefully tread their way through a rubble-strewn dirt path that was formerly a properly tiled footpath.

A faster, but riskier, alternative is to walk outside the plastic safety barriers lining the former tiled path, out on the main road itself.
