Company to plant oil palm on NCR land


KUCHING: Ta Ann Holdings Bhd will develop more than 28,000ha of native customary rights (NCR) land in central Sarawak into oil palm plantations via joint ventures.

Wholly-owned subsidiary Ta Ann Plantation Sdn Bhd has entered into joint-venture (JV) agreements with state-owned Pelita Holdings Sdn Bhd to open up 17,017ha NCR land in Kanowit, Sibu Division, and another 11,178ha in Batang Rajang/Batang Baleh in Kapit Division.
