RESIDENTS of the Housing Project for the Hardcore Poor (PPRT) in Jalan Sungai, Penang, are processing their own food waste into soil enhancer.

Its residents’ association chairman Shahrudin Mohd Shariff said 40 residents had been taking part in the project since last November.
