DBKL steps up checks on hygiene

KUALA Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is carrying out stringent checks on Ramadan bazaar stall operators.

Compounds of up to RM2,000 will be handed to the operators if their stalls did not meet hygiene standards. They will also be prevented from applying for future bazaar permits.
