Bins for harmful household waste

KLCC Urusharta employee Hartini Omar (centre) had come prepared with several household electronics for disposal at the launch of KLCC (Holdings) campaign, bringing along even an old 90s laptop for disposal into the brown (old electronics and electrical items) bin.

THOSE with old electronics, dead flourescent bulbs or tubes and even used batteries can dispose of these toxic household waste items at specially set-up bins in prominent areas in Putrajaya and around the KLCC area in the city.

This comes as KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd and its group of companies launch a six-month awareness campaign on Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and how to safely dispose of such items.
