THE story of a son’s love for his mother with an unexpected twist thrown proved to be successful for a team from Saito College in The Mines Short Film Competition.

Twenty-year-old Tan Jun Syern and his four teammates made the five-minute film about a postman named Kumar, whose affection for his deceased mother drove him to slay his own father, an alcoholic who killed her when he was just 10 years old.
