A group of about 20 residents of the Mar Vista Resort also want the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) to lift the planning permission given to turn the 8,970sq m clubhouse, also known as the 3-Do Club, into a retirement home.

Group spokesman Mikk Towers, 50, said the condominium’s management did not consult with the owners before submitting the application.
