More than just a school: Victoria Institution’s Old Boy’s Association dinner on Sunday will be held in the school compound to enable old boys to see for themselves the state of the school.

ABOUT 1,000 former students of Malaysia’s premier school, Victoria Institution, are expected to congregate at the school compound this Sunday to participate in the school’s 122nd anniversary dinner organised by the Victoria Institution Old Boys Association (VIOBA).

The event will be one of VIOBA’s efforts to generate funds to assist in the maintenance and repair of the school’s 90-year-old building, which was awarded heritage status by the Malaysian government in 2009.
