Wet ride ends on a sweet note

Melodious songs: Bird owners and spectators gathering at Aroma Hotel in Jalan Raja Uda for the bird singing competition held at the starting point of the ‘Beach to Beach Charity Ride’.

MORE than 1,000 cyclists took on the challenge to cycle to Kedah before returning to Butterworth, Penang, in the 70km ‘Beach to Beach Charity Ride 2015 Butterworth’.

Participants weathered the early downpour to cycle past Bagan Luar, the Butterworth coastal highway, Kuala Muda and Pulau Sayak before returning to the starting point at the Aroma Hotel in Jalan Raja Uda in Butterworth.
