SMC yet to get directive on GST

SIBU: Sibu Municipal Council like the other 25 local authorities cannot immediately implement the zero Goods and Services Tax (GST) on its services as it has yet to receive any directive from the state government.

Deputy chairman Datuk Andrew Wong told at its monthly meeting yesterday that the council needed to wait for the official letter from the government before implementing it.
