KUCHING: With the Goods and Services Tax (GST) now into the second month of implementation, developers are still coming to grips with it, especially with regard to joint-venture development.
According to the Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Sheda), complications arise because there are two or three parties involved in joint-venture arrangements and it is unclear who should be responsible for GST charges.
