NUSAJAYA: The Pengerang Municipal Council (MPP) will be formed to oversee the progress and development of the multi-billion ringgit Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex in Kota Tinggi.
Johor Housing and Local Government committee chairman Datuk Abdul Latiff Bandi said however the new municipal council would come into effect only in December 2017.
