More children free from caries as dental health services improve

SIBU: Concerted effort put in by the Sarawak Oral Health Division has improved the oral health status of the people including transforming the oral health service delivery in the state from 2002 to 2020.

Local Government and Community Development minister, Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh in speaking at the launching of 3rd Sibu Oral Health Awareness campaign yesterday highlighted that the percentage of six-year-old children who are totally free from caries have increased from 20% in 2002 to 22% in 2014.
