Highway upgrade causing a stir

MIRI: The upgrading of the Pan Borneo highway in northern Sarawak is starting to cause controversies following the move by the state authorities to issue eviction notices to dozens of families living along the roadside near Bintulu town.

These affected residents have been issued with notices from the Land and Survey Department to move out immediately as their land are needed for the highway to be upgraded from two lanes to four lanes.
