KUCHING: As many as 62 companies in Sarawak have been identified as high performing bumiputra companies (Teras) by the government’s Bumiputra Agenda Steering Unit (Teraju).
Under the Teras programme, a fund has been launched by Teraju exclusively to facilitate these companies in establishing themselves. Teras companies can apply for funding for projects more than RM2.5mil with four banks collaborating with Teraju – Small Medium Enterprise Development Bank, RHB Islamic, Maybank Islamic and Malaysia Industrial Development Finance.
