WHEN several states were hit by floods last year and the call for volunteers to help out was announced, Azhan Kamaruddin did not hesitate to meet that call.
“It was not something I thought about. People were needed to help and I just volunteered. It was an eye-opening experience for me as it was the first time I did it. I also learnt about sadness after seeing the aftermath and the victims,” he said.
