A total of 1,550 police personnel will be on duty during the various programmes held in conjunction with the coronation of the Sultan of Perak Sultan Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah between May 3 and 17.
Perak police chief Senior Deputy Comm (SDCP) Datuk Osman Salleh said the police would ensure that the ceremonies are carried out in an orderly manner, smooth traffic flow throughout the period, and the safety of the VIPS and public guaranteed at all times.
