MIRI:The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency ( MMEA) sea patrol rescued two local fishermen in distress who were adrift in the South China Sea after their fishing vessel suffered engine failure.

Head of the MMEA Miri office Mohd Sahrin Idris yesterday said the duo were found drifting in their boat some 15 nautical miles from the Miri coastline.
