Amusement centre helps fulfil cancer-stricken boy’s wish

Just for him: Aeon Fantasy managing director Chong Swee Ying (left) presenting a mock cheque to Mohammad Nurqiratul while his father Mohd Nazli looks on.

CANCER-stricken Mohammad Nurqiratul Aiman never imagined he would receive financial aid for his chemotherapy — until his wish was fulfilled by Aeon Fantasy (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, the operator of entertainment facilities in Aeon shopping centres.

The plucky boy, who has suffered from liver cancer since birth, caught Aeon Fantasy’s attention through the “Lala Wishing Season” event for children with his determination to help lessen his parents’ burden.
