Mohd Azizi: If a contractor charges us GST while not being registered with the Custom’s Department, we will terminate the contractor immediately. We will not tolerate contractors who cheat the council.
SELAYANG Municipal Council (MPS) will charge Goods and Services Tax (GST) on rental of its facilities that include shops, halls, tents, parking fees and the sale of car stickers.
Outgoing MPS president Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain said the council expected to pay RM500,000 for GST to the Customs Department.
