MPAJ: No Gst on compound notices

Going green: Two hundred people turned up for the tree planting activity at the Earth Hour Campaign celebration for Ampang district.

THERE is good news for Ampang Jaya residents as Goods and Services Tax (GST) tax will not be imposed on compound notices, licensing fees or assessment tax from April 1.

However, the rental of halls, parking spaces and activity courts would be charged the 6% GST, said Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) president Abdul Hamid Abdul Hussain.
