JOHOR BARU: The Johor Baru Central Municipal Council (MPJBT) issued 14 compounds and nine notices amounting to RM7,000 to business operators for operating without licences as well as obstructing traffic in the city.

Its operations head Abdul Malik Ismail said action was taken against them after the council received complaints, that their businesses were an inconvenience to the public.
