Mass learning session draws more than 6,700 participants


A feat for Penang: The big crowd at the CPR carnival are happy to pick up a new lifesaving skill.

MORE than 6,700 people in Penang took part in a mass cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) session helping the event to enter the Malaysia Book of Records for the largest of such gathering in the country.

Organising chairman Dr Luah Lean Wah said the Mass CPR Carnival 2015 at the Han Chiang High School indoor stadium on Penang island beat the previous record of 4,459 in a CPR gathering in Johor in 2006.
