Selangor govt doubles fund allocation for places of worship

The Selangor government has doubled its allocation from RM3mil to RM6mil for non-Islamic places of worship based on the latest census.

According to state executive councillor Datuk Teng Chang Khim, Buddhist and Chinese temples will receive RM3.6mil; Hindus, Sikhs and other Indian religions will receive RM1.75mil and Christians will receive the remaining amount.
