THIRTY eight trees from Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah to Teluk Kumbar will be transplanted to various locations on the island while trees affecting the underground cables will be chopped down to make way for the overhead road project connecting Pekan Bayan Lepas to Teluk Kumbar.
The uprooting and chopping of trees can be seen from the Masjid Jamek Sungai Tiram up to SJKC Chung Shan along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah in Bayan Lepas.
