KUCHING: If all goes to plan, the multi-storey carpark at the popular but highly congested Medan Niaga Satok here should commence work by May, according to Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

Fadillah told reporters on Saturday after a walkabout with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak that he hoped Najib would consider a number of other proposed additions to the Medan, which is a popular weekend market.
