THE Second Newton Challenge Penang held at the Straits Quay saw about 4,000 runners running up and over the scenic Pearl Hill in Tanjung Bungah.

The top category in the run featured a 25km route that took runners from Straits Quay to the Penang Botanic Gardens, through Jalan Mount Erskine, Jalan Lembah Permai past the Vale of Tempe and Guillemard Reservoir before tackling Pearl Hill and then returning to Straits Quay via Tanjung Bungah and Tanjung Tokong.
