24-hour emergency service by St John Ambulance reaches central and northern Perak

RECEIVING assistance within the first 10 minutes and up to an hour during a traumatic medical emergency is crucial as it could determine whether someone lives or dies.

Perak Health Committee chairman Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said the period of time was deemed as the “Golden Hour” and immediate assistance must be provided to increase someone’s survival chances.
