State plans to plant corn on vacant land

MALACCA: The state government is set to transform some 29,000ha of vacant land to grow crops like corn.

State Agriculture and Entrepreneur Development Committee chairman Datuk Hasan Abdul Rahman said that there was 79,000ha of vacant land that was suitable for agricultural use.
