Relief centre in remote areas needed A flood rescue team with a helicopter and power boats are needed to reach flood prone areas in Kuala Tahan

JERANTUT: Another major flood could hit remote areas once more and there could be repeat problems of supplying food due to communication failure.

Tengku Muda Pahang Tengku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ahmad Shah said the flood prone areas in Kuala Tahan which include Kampong Bantal, Kampong Mat Daling, Kampong Gusai, Kampong Kuala Sat and Orang Asli village in Kampong Kuching are located in remote areas in the district and have been frequently badly hit by the flood and the worst was last year.
