Judicial review sought

KUCHING: Sarawak PKR is applying for a judicial review to declare that the Election Commission’s (EC) delineation exercise in the state is null and void as it was not done in compliance with the Federal Constitution’s Thirteenth Schedule.

Its vice-chairman, See Chee How, and Ulu Baram local resident Paul Baya, who filed the application at the High Court here yesterday, also want a declaration that the EC’s proposed recommendations and draft constituency plan displayed for inspection from Jan 5 to Feb 2 is seriously lacking in detailed particulars.
