Malacca has room for more luxury hotels


MALACCA: The historic state still has vacancy for another 2,800 more rooms for luxury hotels, despite the significant number of new luxury hotels that are expected to be operational between mid-2015 and 2016.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron said international hoteliers were keen to venture here in view of the growing tourism industry and due to the full occupancy experienced during the holiday season.
