Customs revenue exceeds target

KUCHING: The Sarawak Customs Department collected nearly RM1bil in tax last year, exceeding its own target by almost RM50mil.

In a statement, it said RM974.19mil was collected in 2014, higher than an earlier forecast, and much more than 2013 when it collected RM867mil.
