Bumiputera land to be developed commercially


KUCHING: Efforts are being made to develop land belonging to the Malay and other bumiputera communities in cities and major towns in Sarawak due to its commercial potentials and to preserve its bumiputera-ownership status.

State Housing Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg said studies had been conducted by the Kox International Consultant, an Australian company, to identify such areas and how best to develop them.
