Felda settlers happy to receive land ownership from state government

SIMPANG RENGGAM: A total of 129 settlers from Felda Layang-Layang were relieved to have finally received their land ownership grants from the state government after decades of waiting.

One of the first generation settlers Ahmad Poniran Kaman, 57, said he felt as if a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders after receiving the grant since moving into the settlement in 1987.
