Thomas Sabo Rebel at Heart collection.
The German jeweller allows customisation of your pieces.
WHAT goes around comes around, and Thomas Sabo wishes all its fans good karma with the launch of its brand new Spring/Summer 2014 creations.
The German jeweller recently launched its Spring/Summer 2014 collection at the opening of the brand’s eighth Malaysian store in Sunway Pyramid shopping mall, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Leading the pack are the Karma Beads, which has a concept similar to the brand’s iconic charm bracelet whereby you can customise your own jewellery, with a choice of 72 different beads.
Create your very own diverse composition as an extension of your personality, whether it’s a bracelet or a necklace. The collection’s key piece, the eye-catching Wheel of Karma, as well as the beads, are crafted from 925 Sterling silver.
Switch around your jewellery anytime you like with new bracelets and necklaces from Thomas Sabo, by securing them with stopper elements to vary the position of the beads. Homage to the brand’s Sterling Silver favourites, these artfully finished beads are adorned with various designs such as snakes, dragons, heartshapes, and ying and yang.
The beads can also be combined with pieces from the new collections, Rebel at Heart and Glam & Soul, which feature rocker Mick Jagger’s daughter, Georgia May Jagger; F1 driver Nico Rosberg; and German musician David Garrett; in the campaigns.
In Glam & Soul, the focus is on energy and joie de vivre, coupled with casual glamour and elegance. Inspired by the Brit chic aesthetic, the iconic Thomas Sabo sun motif is reinterpreted to appear on rings, ear cuffs and earrings, with the yellow gold-plated palm tree and the aventurine disc serving as particularly radiant messengers of summer.
Numerous items in rose-gold plating and 925 Sterling silver play with well-known design codes such as the Love Knot and Fatima’s Hand. Bangles and oversized cocktail rings are designed with feminine Arabesque designs, which a new range of round pendants with and without synthetic zirconia embellishment, make a statement while complementing the classical aspect of the collection.
Although it was created for men, the diverse collection Rebel at Heart has numerous items that will also appeal to women. The new Sterling Silver Rebel collection offers a whole new diversity, whether for the self-assured rebel or the style-conscious bad boy. The signature piece, the enigmatic skull mask, with its elaborately designed cut-out look and black synthetic pave zirconia, is characteristic of the collection’s expressive design language. Inspired by street style, the pieces range from leather and obsidian bracelets and necklaces to include jewellery with highlights made from blackened 925 Sterling silver.
One of the new statement looks include the rosary style bead necklace with a skull cross pendant and variations of the skull, dragon and cross icons.
The Spring/Summer 2014 collection is available at all Thomas Sabo stores.
