An exquisite collection of legendary diamonds and rare gemstones from Tiffany & Co is set to excite Kuala Lumpur folk.
TIFFANY & Co has long had an illustrious heritage of creating the most beautiful jewellery pieces. Its very name is considered by many to be synonymous with elegance, exclusivity and flawless craftsmanship.
While initially founded in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany as a “stationery and fancy goods emporium”, Tiffany & Co has evolved over the years and is now regarded as a world renowned luxury jeweller.
Just think of the blue box that accompanies each and every Tiffany & Co purchase. Neatly tied up with a white ribbon, it is as much recognisable as it is coveted for being a symbol of demure sophistication.
The 1961 Hollywood classic Breakfast At Tiffany’s that immortalised Audrey Hepburn as one of the cinematic greats? Its opening scene was set against the Tiffany & Co shop window of Fifth Avenue, New York City – which incidentally still exist as a flagship store today.
It is thus within this strong legacy of preserving luxury and style in the purest form that Tiffany & Co has been named as the official jeweller for the upcoming Sapura Kencana Petroleum Malaysia Grand Prix Gala & Concert.
Just for the occasion, Tiffany & Co will be presenting a highly curated collection of diamonds as well as gemstone jewellery. Named The Legendary Diamonds Of Tiffany & Co, it is set to be unveiled to more than 500 notable guests during the illustrious event on March 27.
Seventy-two pieces (some shown here) were selected from several different collections that Tiffany & Co has released in the past. They represent the spectacular clarity and brilliance that its master designers and artisans have strived for in dedication to pure brilliance.
The highlights include creations that showcase Tiffany & Co’s yellow diamonds. These magnificent treasures share the highest level of colour saturation that places them among the world’s most sought-after stones.
Consider the Yellow and White Diamond Cascade necklace. In this stunning piece, 48 vivid and intense yellow diamonds, totalling 62.0 carats, alternate with white diamonds in a setting so subtle that the stones cascade freely, like a waterfall.
There is also the Cobblestone Yellow Diamond bracelet. It departs from glamour’s established patterns with 58 oval, marquise, pear-shaped and cushion-cut fancy intense yellow diamonds, dappled with well-placed white diamonds.
For the Emerald-cut Diamond Line necklace, you have a classic diamond piece made spectacular with 98 emerald-cut diamonds totalling 52.83 carats. Each stone was hand-selected for colour, clarity and shape to ensure the perfect graduation of the gems.
> The Legendary Diamonds Of Tiffany & Co will be on view during store hours (Mon-Sat, 10am-9.30pm, and on Sun, 10am-9pm) at boutiques in Suria KLCC and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur until April 8.
