A selection of accessories from the Pandora collection.
A selection of delightful accessories are on display for Pandora’s Valentine 2014 collection.
SWATHED in pink and sprinkled with touches of chiffon, lace, rose petals and feathers, Habib’s Ampang showroom was magically and instantaneously transformed into a fairy tale setting at the recent reveal of Pandora’s Valentine’s Day collection.
The occasion was made even more striking by the presence of celebrity sweethearts and newlyweds Rozita Che Wan and Zain Saidin. Both sported glittering wrists of Pandora jewellery but in strikingly different styles. While on Zain’s wrist hung an understated but classy leather bracelet with a few beads and a single Eiffel tower, Rozita had on her hand multiple bracelets with bright, eye-catching stones and trademark pave.
“One of the best things about Pandora is how easily versatile it is,” says Datuk Meer Sadik Habib, the chairman of Pandora Malaysia. He is proven spot on as Malaysian celebrity Belinda Chee comes down the runway in delicate chains followed by a chunkily adorned Carey Ng, 2013’s Miss Malaysia. The Valentine’s collection proves to be no different, with a mind blowing variation of personal styles, from Pandora’s new sterling silver chain bracelet, to its shimmering pave charms.
The real eye catcher, of course, has to be this season’s sterling silver pave ball charm, the favourite of both Datin Zarida Noordin (managing director, Pandora Malaysia) and Datuk Meer Sadik Habib, respectively. Adding a touch of romance to the popular charm, eight heart-faceted pink stones are individually set by hand and lit ablaze by the surrounding 64 miniature white cubic zirconia stones to create a dazzling charm filled with love.
Then again, a personal favourite was the ring box – a silver charm of fantastic detail, showcasing a ring box with a tiny wedding ring set in the middle, and housing a shimmering stone.
There are 20 new designs for their Valentine’s 2014 collection, with prices ranging from RM169 onwards. You can spend RM888 and get a free heart shape charm worth RM126 and limited edition Pandora red packets from now to Feb 16.
The Valentine 2014 collection is available at Pandora boutiques nationwide and at the Pandora jewellery counter, Habib, Ampang Point, Kuala Lumpur.
