Accessorising with complementary colours

Complementary colours are opposite colours on the colour wheel. Complementary colours can inject energy and can be used to draw maximum attention. When placed near each other, they contrast and intensify each other to give you a sense of “WOW”. 

If you want to attraction, but would want to approach it on a softer level, then you can try wearing one main colour, with a paler tint of its opposite. Such as Green + Light Pink, or Blue with Pale Gold.
