When music and make-up come together
DJ Mia Moretti has released a Lollapalooza-inspired make-up beauty capsule for MAC. It’s her first collaboration with the brand and comes ahead of a full collection in the spring.
After new drops from its Viva Glam collaboration with Rihanna, and the news of a Brooke Shields line, MAC is teaming up with yet another celebrity on a make-up collection.
Unveiled at the start of the month in Chicago, the Lollapalooza-inspired collection was just the first taste of things, with a full line set to arrive in 2015: “We’re doing a line that I designed and it’s coming out at the end of March,” Moretti told WWD .
“I’ve been working on the line. I go up to the laboratory and I’m working on the colours, everything from the packaging to the names,” she explained.
So what can we expect come next spring? Something “fresh, easy and fun. Fashion and style should be easy and not too forced.”
The New York City based DJ is an emerging name on the fashion scene, playing parties for brands and magazines. The Lollapalooza collection features a paint pot, two lipstick shades, eyebrow pencil and a nail lacquer. – AFP Relaxnews
