London street vibes resonates with the singer’s style.
British singer-songwriter Rita Ora has signed a deal with Rimmel which will see the star release a colour cosmetics capsule in February next year.
As part of an agreement announcedyesterday, the 22-year-old musician will get to work on a “must have” collection of nail and lip colours with the brand.
“Rita is a real London girl and uses the streets of London as inspiration for her songs like Rimmel uses the London Look from the streets as inspiration for its products,” explained Rimmel’s Friedemann Schmid. “With this new collection we are combining both the London street vibe with Rita’s amazing style and we look forward to sharing the amazing result.”
The pop star, who appeared this week on the runway for DKNY in New York City, is a keen style fan, well-known for her fashion-forward red carpet dressing and bold make-up looks.
“I have always loved Rimmel growing up and it is so exciting for me to be able to work with such a cool brand,” said Ora. “I am absolutely obsessed with make-up and being adventurous with colours, so when I was given the chance to make my own collection with Rimmel it was like a dream come true!”
It’s been a big year for pop star make-up collaborations.
MAC has collaborated with Rihanna on a series of capsule make-up collections, although it hasn’t just been about the girls. One Direction also released their own line of make-up, called Little Things, with British brand MUA. – AFP Relaxnews
